About 100 years ago, a brilliant Japanese apprentice named Tokuji Hayakawa founded a metal workshop in Tokyo. What he didn’t know was how his invention of the Ever-Sharp mechanical pencil would soon take the world by storm and evolve into a full-blown electrical appliances company, with the name that is no stranger to us now – Sharp. Without realizing, Sharp Corporation has now revolutionized the way people live for almost 100 years by constantly coming up with consumer appliances that are both reliable and practical.
Sharp is 100 years old
Everyone would have an encounter with a Sharp product at some point in their lives. Mine would be the Sharp Aquos LCD TV that I used to have back in Malaysia. The crystal clear pictures and commendable sound quality were just two of the many reasons that we chose to buy this brand in the first place. And there were no regrets!
Anniversary Share campaign
To celebrate Sharp’s 100th Year anniversary, they are launching the Anniversary Share Campaign that might win someone a trip to the West Coast of U.S.! I don’t know about you but I haven’t been to the U.S. before and I would absolutely love for a free trip to visit. All you need to do is upload a photo or video of your most memorable moment and tell Sharp your best story of the moment. These pictures and movies would eventually be displayed in an “Anniversary Share” movie on the website during the campaign period.
How to enter
This contest period is from 16 June 2012 to 15 September 2012 and covers Indonesia, Malaysia, SIngapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand and UAE. Two pairs of selected participants will win an exclusive trip to the West Coast of USA! Top five ranking pictures and videos will also received Sharp products.
Results announcements will be on October 15, 2012.
