Day 6 of my Hong Kong trip was basically spent on Disneyland Hong Kong, all day long! In fact, I think we started our journey at 11am and left Disneyland at 11pm! *gasp* To get to Disneyland, it’s as simple as taking the MTR. There is a stop called Disney, you won’t miss it. The MTR to Disney is also special, with Disney characters as the theme! So very cute!

Inside MTR to Disney
The journey from Mongkok took around 30-40 mins to reach Disneyland. By the way, this post will be focusing on pictures, since a picture can speak a thousand words.

Since we went at the end of October, the Halloween mood was all around Disneyland. There were also many haunted houses to visit! Such as these two below:

Demon Jungle

Main Street Hotel
The main castle. So magical.

Jungle River Cruise

The Jungle River Cruise was pretty cool! We got splashed by crocodiles and saw volcanoes erupting along the way.
We spent quite some time to queue up for the photo shoot with Mickey and Minnie together (the one where they’re wearing purple outfit). But the rest of the characters, we managed to catch them when they were free!

We watched a show called Festival of the Lion King, which was my favourite! Must not miss this!

High School Musical was just so-so.

Saucer bought popcorn for us, and it costed him HKD20! *gasp*

The third show we watched was called The Golden Mickey. It was pretty interesting. Do note that it’s shown in Cantonese, but there’s a screen with English subtitles on the side.

We went for a ride called It’s a Small World, which is actually a boat ride that goes through the world. Very pretty!

To commemorate the Halloween festival, there was a show by Tim Burton’s Nightmare before Christmas parade as well.

And of course, the fireworks!

And the Space Mountain ride scared the hell out of me! Just look at the picture of me screaming!

We did stop in between rides and shows to do shopping. I think I spent the most shopping here! Mugs, photo frames, t-shirts, umbrella! They’re all so very cute! Before we left Disneyland, we went for one last ride. The Cinderella Carousel!
Always wanted to ride on a Merry-go-round but too embarrassed to do so. Since it was already 11pm and no one else was riding, why not!

*phew* So many pictures! I had never been to Disneyland prior to this, so I thought the experience was pretty beautiful. But I’m sure many people would beg to differ. I enjoyed my time at Disneyland nonetheless. It will always be some place special to me.
